Sharky Research

Well, I've been doing some research into shark mythology and history for my writing.  I discovered that part of the military base at Pearl Harbor was built on top of an ancient shark arena.  I also uncovered that when a pier collapsed shortly after the military constructed it - the native Hawaiians claimed the Queen of Sharks was not happy and was 'flexing her back'.  I've looked at everything from shark gods, alters and sacrifices, to shark charmers and Kahuna 'Ana 'Ana's (Hawaiian Shaman or mystic healers).  Much of my research became inspiration.
